Hello guys!
I would like to show you my latest "relaxing" project "OOTB"- almost OOTB I added the Abers clamps, Eureka XXL towing cables, Adlers Nest co-axial MG barrel, made the cleaning rod container (sheet metal from the beer can). I also added some weld lines and upgrade some kit parts and made some chips in the DML Zimmerit. The Panther will be placed on the small diorama. The idea is that the tank is bogged in the mud and some nosy Russian tanker from MIG Production is looking through the hatch. The electric pole is from the Verlinden. I spent last 6 days building this model and I think it's acceptable as a build an will give nice base for painting.
The primer applied! It was the first time I use the Citadel Chaos Black and I must say that is awesome! Especially as a base for colour modulation-I don't need to apply the black layer because it's already applied!
very nice ! If this is to end as good as your StuG, this is gonna be a killer !
As it is not 100% from the box, maybe you want to add the smoke grenade launcher electrical wiring ? I don't see that on the pics ...
ps : just in case someone thinks it is of any interest ... these smoke grenade launchers were discontinued 2/3 months before the zimmerit was to be put on. At first they were simply cut off just as what can be seen on the pic I posted.

I think that is to late for it-and honestly I don't care about this detail in this 6 days build. It will be the testing ground for "the real" Panther that I'll build in the future

So maybe I'll just cut them off? If it's a mistake (actually I don't have any photo showing the grenade launchers on the Zimmerit Panther) it will be much easier now than add the wiring... What do you think?

Yes it's the kit with DS tracks-but I'll use Magic Tracks instead. The Citadel primer is awesome-my favourite by now! I heard that Vallejo primer isn't very good. I can also recommend you the Tamiya L Grey primer straight from the can. 6 days 60-70% per day-not a full time-I'm too lazy for full time...
