Maquette 1/35 AEC Mk I armoured car

Gents, this is my last project:
the mix-media kit from Maquette AEC Mk I armoured car....

When I bought this kit, in the eBay, I was concerned, because one of the WORST KITS THAN I BUILT IN MY LIFE it was this grotesque Archer, of same Maquette...

But I like this model of English armored car a lot, I breathed bottom and I dared..

The kit is nice...ufa !!!

The resin pieces are well casted and aligned:

The build is clean and easy:

The hull and chassis:

Fenders:

and suspension and transmissions:

The gun mantlet is awfull...injected part from Valentine´s Maquette:

putty and plasticard:

the turret is the same...

some scratch:

Marcos

I have never seen this kit before and didn't even know Maquette had resin kits. I've only built (well, try to build anyway) their 38t and I have the same experience with the massive sink holes. It shocks me that such poor molding gets past quality control (or maybe there isn't). But that's another story.

You're doing a very good job on this challenging kit as usual and I will be following with interest

Marcos. the idea of using the Coke cans for the "traction plates" ( I have no idea of the real name for those ) is brilliant.

Good work.
