Vorpanzer IV Ausf E

Crazy R.C's Ebay madness stock liquidation sale.
Picked this one up from R.C. 1000 parts it says on the box

Bits and pieces started but lots and lots and lots(get the feeling theres lots?)more to do.

This will hopefully be my entry into Wheels and Tracks 2009 Golden Sprocket Award. A themed build, 2009's being Anything on a Panzer IV chassis. Wish me luck.
Pete

I really enjoyed building this a while back. Lots of pieces but the detail is well worth the fiddling.

I got some loot too from his sale. I wold have liked to get a Tiger, but my wife wouldn't let me sell the car to pay for it.

Cheers

I can't believe how much my DML Tigers are worth. I PM'ed RC an offer that you could use as a private reserve on two of his Tigers but wow how low did I set the bar .
I've got 3 in unopened boxes that I'm going to use [one day ]. I got them early on so that everything would be nice and crisp with the molds.

I'm looking forward to this build as I love the early Pkw IVs.

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

Should be a very time consuming, yet fun build.

Small update: suspension units are now finished. 8 pieces per unit, very fiddly but if done properly, fully workable. Not sure if this is that useful, unless you use after market workable tracks. I will leave the Magics off until I decide on a final scene/ layout.

As you may be able to see, other smaller suspension bits had been installed by RC. I am now working on the wheels. Each wheel is made up of 5 parts. So thats 8 parts per suspension unit and 5 parts per wheel with 2 wheels per unit. 18 parts per complete unit and there is 8 units, I love Panzer IV's:

Oh yeah, 1 last thing, my 7 year old just knocked everything onto the floor.
