Nice work! Again, this might be one German kit I'd buy. Especially when there's a nice opportunity for some captured markings.

Hi Marco ...I'm still plugging away at this kit too... I must say I haven't enjoyed the suspension very much but I finally got everything lined up ..by the time you finish step one you'll notice that there are two more holes that need to be plugged ..these are behind the smoke grenade box but I think at least one will be noticable if it's not filled before adding the box ..just a quick heads up...

Hi Rick,

DML provided the same Rear Plate for PzIIF from their Marder II kit...the recess location is for the "Step" ...that for Marder II ONLY...

Step 4 - Building the Wheels

DML has provided 2 kinds of Drive Sprocket for options...however, I read it from Achtung Panzer #7 books...the number# 3 Sprocket Wheel is exclusive for Wespe and Marder II ONLY

Here is the correct Drive Sprocket for Pz II Series...

Here is the Idler Wheel...

I used a new X-acto blade to correct the wrong spelling on the Road wheel...

Completed 8 Road Wheels...

Also correct the wrong spelling on the Roller Wheels too...

Completed 8 Roller Wheels...

Marco, you are more patient than I am...I fixed a couple of the spellings before I called it good...perhaps I should go back and finish!

Details, Details, Details.....

good work Marco

Martin,

Thanks for the link! I had the first photo from an old issue of Ground Power (or Tank Magazine) but the second one is even better! Of course, with Dragon Models USA now offering the Model Art book packaged with the kit, it is a deal I won't pass up.

Regards,
