Ok, I've done some work on the /9. After recieving several Aber sets in the mail this week, I went to work on the kit.

The Aber floor set (35 A87) was used. Here is a comparison of the unmodified kit part from the /1, and the /9 with the floor and some PE details added. There is a small strip that needs to be added at the rear of the floor yet.

The driver's compartment and the seats are modified. Here is the original part supplied in the kit:

Here it is after cutting it up. This will all be cleaned up a bit, and reworked with Aber and styrene rod.

Try e-bay Larry. That's where I found mine. I don't get why the 250/1/5/9 neu kits were taken out of production. The 250 altes are still available, as is the 250/8 neu. Maybe with the popularity of their 251s, Dragon will give us a new 250 series. We can hope anyway.

Hi Evan,
Yes, that would be sweet. I got the /5, and it's still a nice kit. I'm thinking I should get the /8 maybe. I guess I just got to get the turret fix on my 222, lots of work......or get one of the new 251/17's

keep it coming.
