Well, well...this is a pretty sweet looking build.

I agree with the comments that Mattias made about the figure. You asked particularly about the left arm, but my attention was drawn to the right, something isn't quite natural...but I believe that you are working on the fix. And, yep, a Hornet head will do wonders.

The painting will be a real treat to follow.

So, I have repositioned the crewman tonight and changed the head. I put on a fieldcap from a Dragon Gen2 set from which I cut of the crow and shortened the brim. Some gaps are to be filled if you like this one better and I will also add some height to the right shoulder. Also the missing thumb on the left hand will be added. Im also in progress adding headphones and throat microphone from Royal Models.

Please let me know how you feel about the pose.

Cheers

Janne, much better. If you can get his right forearm and hand to rest on the surface I think you'll have it.

Looking great.

Much better Janne .

I agree with Rick about modeling his right arm so that it really rests on the turret ring.

One more thing. Wouldn't it look really cool if he was holding a tobacco pipe in his right hand. The way the hand is fitted now, together with his pose will make it look perfect.

Later / Mattias Larsson, Sweden

Well, I have to face the fact that I cant finnish(pardon the pun) within the deadline. Many changes has been made, mostly regarding the figure and everything is at the stage primed Chaos Black.

But if theres no miracle as an extension I will have to throw in the towel.

Thanks for all the help and support from you all with this project.

Cheers

Deadline or not, please don't throw in the towel. Keep working and posting, I'm enjoying and learning a lot from your build.

Rick

Dont worry, Im still on it.

Now I need your opinions whether the camoflage pattern looks the part.
Heres the pictures.

Heres some sample of what I tried to accomplish.

The last two pictures are from Andreas Lärkas homepage with load of informations. Thanks to Andreas for the help provided with this build.

I like the painting
Compared to the samples your colors look a bit brighter but I think it will fit after the weathering
