It has something to do with the lens he had on his camera. I think he may have been using a wide angle lens on a standard digital camera. That would be my best guess.

I know it's not armor, but that missile looks exactly the same as the UK Bloodhound. Where does a ZG Gubel come from ?
I suspect a cold war copy perhaps ?

That is a Bloodhound Missile, ZG Gubel is the name of the entire missile battery.

Ah, thanks Don. Not a term I've heard before. There was a bloodhound up for grabs on ebay recently, but the Mrs wouldn't let me have it in the front garden. Some people have no sense of humour !

The same went for me when I couldn't buy a Centurion that was up for sale on eBay.

Hi Don,

This bloodhound belongs to the Swiss Army. "ZG" stand for the Canton of Zug in Switzerland. And "Gubel" is the name of the hill were the battery is located.
