Nope- gonna work on it right now...
here is step 1.



(the wire is a replacement for the kit part, which was not properly formed- a short shot I believe it's called)

AFV has got a better technique with the cradle- it avoids the awkward and in the end impossible mission of sanding around rivets ala the DML cradle underneath. With the AFV one it goes all the way across not two parts split down the middle like in the DML parts.




DML parts- difficult to clean the seam up.


small parts-gotta be real careful like when removin' thes parts off th' sprue tree.

Now that looks very nice James , I think I prefer the DML from from your other post and I know it`s a different version before you jump on me Does that one come with an Ali barrel as well?

yep it does- and looking at a comparison shot of it next to the DML version of the 18 barrel - there seems to be a difference.


step 5. involves the shell loading tray
I think its a little finer in detail compared to the DML version but there are knock out circles inside that need to be filled.

there is a big difference there between the barrels... which seems to be the most accurate? cuz I ain't no FLAK 88 expert :lol:

thanks for the link.... right now I'm just at a crossroads as to what to get now.... maybe I should just get both and tinker around with them to create some sort of hybrid :lol:
