Okay here is the photo on what I will partly base my HJ panther on. I cant find any re-charger for the camera yet so this far I will just post the photo that I base this project on. What I can tell you about the project this far is that I have esembeled the tracks from Friul, started the zimmerit (half done) and the front fenders are done.
Cheers!

Ebbe, good choice of Panther for a dio. Don't forget if you do model the exact scene, that the cupola should be partly covered in blood. The crew brought the tank back with the commander minus his head, due to an explosion near the cupola. A PK photographer took the shots of the crew sweeping the remains off the turret, in readiness for the next action. This is the reason for the stern looks on the faces of the 26. SS Pz. Gr. men in the foreground.

Hi Martin!
Yes I had a feeling that this was the tank that got its comander headless.
Do you know if Ribbentrop was at the scene? Im going do my own sculpted figures following Calvin Tan:s book how to do. The diorama will show Ribbentrop and Wünche talking with the crew on the tank. Some grenadiers are standing around it allso. Would this be incorrect? I heard something about a Wehrmacht comander that took over Ribbentrops place when he was at the hospital?!
Cheers!

I will have to consult my books on this one, I am reading both Panzer Aces on von Ribbentrop and the Stackpole 12. SS book. They both mention the incident, and I will clear it up for you.

Hi Ambjörn!
Yes the blood will not be there. It will show the panther, comander, grenadiers and maby Wünche and Ribbentrop consulting the tank comander. For more action scene I could do the shooting but....I feel its much to grim.
Cheers!
