Here's my old model that was finished over a year ago. Just wanted to show things done to it.

Couldn't find good pics of construction so here's almost ready model. Eduard and Part PE used. It was nice to see that sets had many parts not included in other set.
Armo's barrel, not in pic, gave an enormous improvement over palstic barrel which was out of shape.
Road wheels are recasts from plastic ones with added holes. Didn't came out quite right:/
Not shown in here, I added or scratchbuilt hatches for periscopes. Also added handles to engine deck from thin, 0,15 mm, copper wire. Lamp guards made of wine bottle wire, PE parts were too flat. Small lamps in front fenders added. All the tools are from Part's PE set. Tracks were built in place and painted afterwards, it helps when road wheels have rubber rings.

Here is model ready. First painted with mix of Humrol to represent SCC15 or similar? Then painted with lighter version of same color to lighten appearance. Should have been much lighter! Added filter with Hu92 which came out as wash Also Migments were used. Decals are from set and Italeri Sherman.
Now I have added some stowage to it and added some local washs. Will post a pic of that version later..
Admiral Adama: "Are people still eating paper?" Colonel Tigh: "No, paper shortage"
