Sd.Kfz. 234/3 Schwerer Panzerspaehwagen (7.5 cm)

Hi all !

I started this project , 2 mondh ago. It begun a fast OOB bulid but it turned out a full upggade project.
The full upgrade was inspired by Flak`s awesome 234/3 unit
The kit is the dragon 234/3 , and a griffon clamps set. Meanwhile i designed a full photo etched set for this vehicle , and i have to say it was a real pain in the ass for the end of the drawing. I would not thout it was a hard job to do. But it is nearly finished , and send to the craftsman .

So here i stand now. I started with the running gears , i made the brake cables from 0.2mm brass rod. The rear wheel arm is a late version with different wheel hub and pattern.

Here is the late version arm , with some Brown stuff.

Comment are wellcome !
And sorry for my english

Hello,

the first pics look promising. You wrote you designed a full PE set for this kit? Are there any preview pics available? Will it be available under a PE company like ABER or Voyager?

Yes i made it one. but only for myself , not for a company
The seet was made for several projects , not just the 234. It would be compicated to relase it in the market , and i haven`t a free time for it.
I haven`t much hobby time so i will be happy if I can finish the 234 in a few months.

Thanks for the comments
I try to update soon.

Do anyone know what is this item exactly ?

J H18,H7,H22

It is a munition holder for the 7.5 ammo , or something ?
The 234/4 has similar but i`m not shure what it is.

Update

I started to build the crew compartment. The gear shift levers are replaced with 0.4 mm rod. I don`t planning to open the drivers hatch , so the drivers area is not will be seen in the end , so i think theese updates are enough.
And the most important thing is , my custom etching is arrived !
It is not as good as i wanted. The little holding "ears" in the parts are molted , so the whole parts are falled out from the frame. They comes with plastic bag
But the details are good , just a few parts are damaged badly. It will be a real puzzle to figure out wich part is what.
Soon i started to solder them

Thanks for the commments !
