PzIV ausf F2 on Sd.Ah.116

Hi all,I'm kinda new to this site although I've been checking things out for a while.I had wanted to post my PzIV ausf E on this site but it's nearly finished so no sense in posting it. I'm working on a new project using the Tamiya Sd.Ah116 trailer and the Dragon PzIV ausf F2.

I found some pics on the Pathe web site some years ago and always wanted to build this, now that I finally bought the Dragon kit I can start on it. I will be adding a bit more to make it look more interesting. I figured the tank and trailer was strafed by enemy aircraft, so I am trying to build this according to this theory I have already started on the trailer and it's almost done, here is how it's looking.

I wanted to replicate some burnt wood planks where fuel leaked onto the planks from the tank's fuel tank.

I added some strafing damage to the front bogie. That's about it for now,I'll update as this progresses.
Any and all feedback, good ar bad is most welcome.

Welcome Scratchmod

Hey Rob,
good to see your posting over here. I think this format will suit your work better.

I think I'll start posting over here when I start my next project. T-34/85 in the Kabul tank graveyard.

Pics look great. I like the damage on the deck of the trailer and especially the tears on the spare tire.

Steve

Thanks Pete it's nice to hear you like my IV E. I kinda got side tracked again ans haven't finished it yet. I guess since it's not done, I could post some pics.
Paul, Thanks, the e on the end of Mass was not me,but I guess I have to keep my eye on my spelling around here,LOL.

I like the effects you've done to the wood planks, the build looks clean as well.

Where abouts in MA are you, I'm in a small southeastern town just east of the RI line.

Hi flak..I tried something new with the planks. I used a hobby knife to carve the rough shape then used a dull pointed blade to scribe the lines. I hope it turns out ok when it's painted.
Ken..thanks. sounds like you live close by,I live in Swansea, where do you live?
