Cool Trumpeter Mi-24 1/35

So here it finally is, I started it two days ago, and here's how far I am with it since tonight:

Since my airbrush started spitting humongous blobs of paint(), when I was painting the cockpit, I had to go over it with a brush, and now it is a bit messed up, so I will not open the cockpit doors.
Also, I chose not to dislpay the engine, since there are too many parts to add, to make it reasonable.

I will try to make better pics in sunlight tomorrow aswell.

What do ya think?

Marek

Nice work Marek.

It sure looks interesting as this is one of my favorite helicopters of all time. You seem to be on a roll here, but remember speed is not everything.

I was about to ask how you are going to get the engine shapes in (which hold the exhaust) when I saw the tape. Look at my sigtag, it is my favorite flying tank.

Regards,

Marek, can you tell us if you find any problem with the kit building? And can you us a pic of the version you are building?
Thanks

Darío

Thanks Dave, Saul, Marco and Dario.
Dave: Yeah, I havent really rushed it, it's just that I have been building it from 10 pm to almost 4 am in the morning, these two days.

Dario, there arent really a lot of problems, maybe just minor flash in some places and I test fitting the hulls, seems that there wont be almost any gaps, which is pretty good for me.
I reallt dont know what version I will be building, I havent decided yet, but I think it will be one of the kit supplied schemes.

Oh, and guys, its everybodys favourite helicopter.

Marek

Ok, some better shots, and I shall mention once again, that the fuselage is just dry fitted.

Come to think of it, they didnt come out that good...
Comments, suggestions, and critics are more than welcome!

Marek

EDIT: One ofthe wheels seems to be crooked, well, its because the wheel wells (correct term?) are jsut dry fitted.

Did my ugly photos scare everybody away??

Anyways, I also found a pin-mark in the cockpit, that Siim pointed out, which has been filled already.

ANY critisicm would be welcome...

Marek
