James, eye for detail! Yes, I am an avid bowl skater [old school] and try to go 3 times a week for a couple of hours. That board is one of two longboards I have! My son also skates and we go together. I have been teaching him since he was 6, he's now 15 and pretty good!

Nice space Ian,

Are those Eagle Edition prints I see?

Are those cross supports real? or for show?

Larry

Larry,
the cross supports are real as my model room is directly under the kitchen and half underground. The windows look out onto the Sherbrooke forest as I am at about 300m above sea level and on the side of a mountain.
The prints [I presume you mean the laminated german fighters prints?] came with 2 books on luftwaffe fighter aces by Kookaburra. great books and I don't think I have come across better for a ref on all the german fighter units.
This room also has hot and cold running water with a sink, 3phase power for industrial grade tools and a concrete floor. All mine and a gettaway from the wife and kids. I had my models out and stacked because I was moving them so i thought i would take a picture. I sold about 60 on EBAY last year so it would have been more. I did not include my 32scale planes or my Verlinden buildings!

ramcke_jager,
with the name R C Hill it isn't too far off! [quote: That is sooo cool! I wish that you were my dad!].
Yes there is about 400 rounds on a disintergrating link belt. It runs the full length of my work bench. I managed to collect these from my last field exercise in the army. I was the machine gunner - GPMGm60 - LOVE IN A BARREL. (Also affectionately known by Nam vets as the PIG).

Another modeler's work area to be envious of. Very cool set up - a wonderful refuge - I would never leave.
