Plushy,
I haven't decided on a actual tank yet though I am ptetty keen on this one ...

This is a captured KV-2 being used for factory defense, dug in outside the Krupp plant in Germany April 1945 [against US Forces]. 'A long way from home' is the name Iwould give this one. Interesting subject though it has been modeled before.... i think it was MIG who did it a couple of years ago.

Your book problem sounds like one we all have here ... Hve I got it or not! One of the top ten signs that you are totally hooked!

Hi Larry,
yeah it is a nice one. I think what makes it so interesting is the fact that it IS so out of place and it's awful condition.......which only adds to it's appeal as it makes it look even tougher!

BTW Ian,

Nicholas Trudgen is an awesome artist. There is a military art gallery here that carries his art as well as Robert Taylor. It is run by Virginia Bader. The I believe "Grand daughter to to the Legendary English Ace, who lost his legs, and still flew missions! I can't think of his first name, Robert Bader?

She just released some videos of some interviews she did with Adoph Galland before he passed away. A very nice Lady.

Larry

 Another strange aquisition ............... a train book. I plan to do a dio around that new Kreigslokomotive from the Trumpet. Towing tanks and all that to the front. Since I know nothing much about painting and weathering trains I bought this.......

This book is full of great color shots that sow the rust, dirt , stains and streaks......its great for this project and it cost me $10.00 for about 80 pages, mostly color- a4 format.

Now I would never have thought that I would ever buy a book on trains but then I never thought anyone would ever do a 1/35 loco in plastic!
