The tracks placed. More work than glueing the link to link tracks but it is well worth it.

Well, the elephant was an upgraded Ferdinand
As far as I know no Ferdinand's had zimmerit as Ferdinand's, they had zimmerit applied during the conversion to elephants. The elephants where a stop-gap upgrade to the Ferdinand's based on issues experienced in the field, like no ability to protect themselves from infantry (no mg) and the tool box being ripped off by brush (moved from side to rear)

I painted the model with Dark Yellow Tamiya XF-60.

The tracks already painted and then a dry brush with X-11 Silver Tamiya. Now pigments.

I have it backwards then it was Ferdinand that later became the elephant . sort of Ferdinand's white elephants.

Hatches ready but not glued.

I applied a filter. It's news to me.

Hi

Nice job on one of my favourites, although really not a very good idea on the Germans part.

Skillful work with the airbrush getting those thin green lines on.

You may want to consider repainting the internal colour on the hatches, as these would have been the same colour as the external base colour of the vehicle they were fitted on not the white as you have it currently. Of course this excluding any protective padding for the head etc. that may be fitted.

regards.

Alan
