The kit and goodies. The engine kit, grilles and tracks are from Tamiya and the barrel is Rubio (or maybe Aber).

Lower hull and basic running gear (left). Breech, barrel and mantlet (right). I forgot to mention before that for this barrel to properly fit the Tamiya breech, a shoulder had to be machined into the breech end. Again, my trusty Sherline lathe was a huge help!

Yes, Friuls. I took a stab at using the Tamiya tracks, which had worked for me on a previous model, but I just couldn't get them to behave or look right. Friuls, on the other hand always seem to come out the way I want them to...
