Nice! Can you tell us some more about the kit and parts you used and your process?

I certainly can Andy but firstly where do you live as I am in Schaumburg

It is basically OOB and the only real aftermarket is the barrels, ammo, Archer dial decals which you cant see in the pics a few bits from the spares box like additional ammo cans
I did of bit of rework to the sights to give the impression of those rubber eye pieces
The food is scratch ( I thought Id put that in seeing Alex posts up some wonderful stuff on his FB page)
Personal equipment is from Dragons Gen 2 stuff.

The kit was made up as per instructions primed with Tamiya for the upper surfaces in Grey and then primed for the substructure with "The Army Painter" Primer Black
Panzer grey was mixed up using Tamiya Panzer grey, blue, and white
Dark wash added
Highlighting and lowlighting with Vallejos,..that was also used for the detailing
Running gear was spayed with Earth and Buff ever increasing towards the buff side for that dusty look I was after

Thats about it really fell free to question away

Thank you for looking in

PS

I have a sort of WIP posted up on another website but I dont know If Im allowed to link to that to give a bit more insight

I'm down in New Lenox. Hey, are you a Chicagoland AMPS member? There's a meeting on Saturday - I highly recommend it.

http://www.amps-chicago.org/

Meetings are at the First Armored Museum in Wheaton.

Nice work - I have to hunt down some of those barrels for a couple of future flakvierling projects I've got...

BTW, Welcome to the vBench!

You know its quite a coincidence as I was thinking about joining up to the Chicago AMPS only last week

I know some of those chaps go to the chicago show and Ive seen them at the Butch OHare show too ( maybe one of them was you !!)
I will be attending both of those shows

Thank you for the welcome and I will certainly think about a trip down to Wheaton on Saturday if I can rearrange my schedule (ok read into that,..me escaping the honey do list without her noticing )

I think a bunch of us are planning to be at Butch O'Hare, but it'll be the first time for me. I've been with AMPS only since last February, but it's a great club. Nice to sit down once a month and talk to other modellers face-to-face and see their work up close. Some of these guys have been doing this for 30+ years. If you can't make it this month, the next meeting is 11/12.

Cheers!
