Looks the cat's meow. Are those Mini-art lamps?

Bone chilling

I have been silently watching this fantastic build ...
It is something that I always wanted to recreate but didn't know how ...
but you have achieved it with respect and dignity without leaving out the implied cruelty.

Bravo!

The railcar is superb, it's painting realistic ...
Your focus on the prisoner and the cart sets the emotions
but ... the fence, electric wire and lamps even without paint ...
makes it bone chilling ...

Again Rick ... Bravo!

It is wonderful work.

Abdin, where were you at the end of August? I was in Mayaguez several times but did not know the name of your business,

Regards,

Abdin?

Hello Saúl,

I think you mean "Fledermaus" but that's OK ...

"yo no pido vuelta" ...
it's something we say in spanish when
you're mistaken for someone else but that other person is some
one you appreciate and is a great person to be mistaken for.

So Saúl, I let Abdin know about your message so that he can get
in touch with you soon ...

Funny though ... Abdin (Fledermaus), Ruben (Driver), Quiles (?) and
I (Lost Legionar) were modeling together last Saturday night at ...
yes you guessed it ... at Abdin's house ...
about 6 hours straight, from 6:00pm till 12:00am

Apologies! I did get you confused with Fledermaus but I was hoping to see all you guys in Mayaguez and try not to drool over your UE.

Anyway, glad to see some people posting.

Rick or Markus, anything new to show? I am getting withdrawal symptoms!

Regards,

Hi guys, a couple of things....

First, you may notice that I have changed the title of the piece to Burden of Sorrow. I've been struggling with the title since the beginning - maybe this one captures the piece better? Your thoughts.

Edit=== Hum, it changes on the top of the first page of the thread, but not the Top of the Blog! Does anyone know the trick to getting all of the titles the same?

Update time....

Doing some painting on the cart...and sculpting the clothing. For painting, I am purposefully trying to mute the colors by adding a touch of grey in order to create a somber atmosphere. The clothing itself is created using Appoxie Sculpt rolled into thin sheets and then cut and folded into shapes.

A little WIP shot ......

A little further along in the process...........

Again, thanks for following along.

Rick

Rick wasn´t the only one working on his part of the project.
I was able to work on the figure during the last couple of days and I´m at the point where I can see some paint in sight.
It might be a bit hard to see where I was working on, since I decided to switch to Magic Sculp for sculpting (the Andrea stuff is too soft. I later used it to mix it with Green stuff for the Details) but you might get the idea.
There´s still some work to be done (mainly trousers), but I´m getting there.
You might see that I changed the shoes for some copied Resin ones and that I began to add the details on the Jacket and Trousers.

I hope you like it so far!

P.S. Rick, you already know my thoughts about the title. I´m loving it!
Great progress on the cart!!
