Polish Wz. 34

Having some more time now I have started a new project. This is Polish armored car Wz. 34 used in September’39 campaign. This is 1/35 Toga model, not so good quality but I have started it to train some new techniques and new airbrush. Model is quite SOOTB only shovel and pick was taken from one of the AFV kits and some staff made of copper wire. Base colors are already set. Now some chipping and I will be making weathering.

That car is soooo small. Love that three tone scheme though.

Halleluja!

Its nice to see anything allied on here, and especially Polish AFVs.

I'm interested to see this one finished as everyone I know who began working on it (myself included) gave up half-way through the project

Good luck and keep the Polska Pancerka coming

Did you have trouble lining up the wheel axels?

Ralph, lining wheel axels in this model is a challenge. Good news for you – my next project will be TKS tankette with 20mm cannon and full interior.

This is a fantastic car with long and uncommon history. Wz. 34 (version 1934) was based on French armoured halftruck Citroën-Kegresse B2 10CV called in our army wz. 28. Because halftracked wz 28 was slow and unmaneuverable, polish engineers decided to change tracks into the wheels. It is first and only all – wheeled vehicle developed from tracked one!

Uff, I have done this project!

Here you can see a result of my work:

Refreshing this topic, I have found that there is a mistake in title, of course not wz. 39 but 34.
