Casting Resin

Can anyone point me to a decent Resin Casting SBS/FAQ please?

Lost the headlight for a vehicle I'm working on, so need to make a two part mould & Resin copy from another headlight supplied with another model

Many Thanks

Dazzer

Thumbs up Micro Marks

Try micromark.com they sell a kit with easy to follow instructions. I made several transmisions for my collection of Dragon Sd.Kfz. 250's that did not have any included in the kit.

Regards,
Curt

I don't know about suppliers in the UK, but Ciba-Geigy (France) make excellent RTV rubber. Polyurethane? you're on your own. The railroad guys will know.

Model railroading is a good place to start for tutorials, too. It's used quite a bit.

Cheers
Scott

Dazzer, you'll probably find that Micromark won't ship anything chemical to the UK, which is a shame, because they do some great stuff.
I recommend you try Hobby's. They do stuff for moulding and casting, and a lot of interesting tools, too.
