Okee Dokee,

Been away for some time, but have advanced a bit.

Ive added most of the suspension, though I've replaced the springs with scratch made (from rod and soldering wire) as the kit springs were too awkward to sand properly.

I also had to scratch build a bracket/support for one of the central return rollers due to an agressive attack from the 'Carpet Monster' It's not 100% identical to the kit bracket, but will suffice I hope

Minor filling of sink holes was also required

Here are a couple of pics of the suspension as it stands...

Now, onto the hull top

Pictured below are the initial components for assembling the upper hull...

All the parts went together quite well, though some minor filling with Mr. Surfacer 500 was required, and here is the hull top dry fitted...

Now, some work on the gun. The HONI III is armed with a 75mm Type 90 Field Gun, in a fixed casement. The components for assembling the gun are pictured below...

The gun has now been assembled, with the aluminium barrel replacing the kit barrel. Some minor filling was required, but not copious amounts...

and finally, a few pics of the barrel dry fitted...

More soon I hope

Thanks for looking

Dazzer
