I use Testors Gun Metal for base coat and then add Humbrol Gun metal by brush. The Humbrol paint I have is as old as dinosaurs and is actually dried out. I pick few dried bits every time I want to use use this and with adding couple a drops of enamel thinner it'll be usable again.
