Sorry about the " " . I was too slack to check on your last name so I did that instead to indicate that it was you and not some other Sam .

The shame is that you didn't master these as your mantel cover is really first class. Would have looked great on one of my poor attempts.
Iíll be ordering a few of these sets as Iím gonna become a Aussie Nam Cent-a-holic.

Wasn't the AFV club centurion an Aussie version? What does the Firestorm set do for the kit? Is it just an ugrade with field modifications or does it convert it to a different version? I don't know much about the Centurions in Aussie service but this kit is on my buy list.

Hi Lawrence, yes this is the Aussie Cent but it needs some work like Sam's tank to get it to a "Nam" speck one .

That right, the star-picket boot cleaner on the left-hand guard and the off-set wheel holders on the front glace and the reinforced side bins.
The set also adds a bit of finesse to the kit with the dust cover over the IR lamp and such. Iíll be getting the sets some time this week (or early next) and Iíll let you know more about the quality then .

Thanks Ed,

A photo comparison of the AFV and Firestorm parts would be most helpful. I went to the local hobby store today to check out the Centurion again for the fifth time! I think the shop keeper is starting to get pissed of at me!
