Here are the mags I picked up recently-I love tank model mags. While the internet is good for some things nothing can replace my mags. Usually there is something new- and if not something useful for something I'm working on -there may be something I can refer for some future project (and for that matter an older one).

1. Armor Models from EuroModelismo

2.AFV Modeller

3.Model

4.Finescale Modeller

5.Military in Scale

6.Miltary Modelling

7.Military Miniatures in Review

8.Tamiya Model Magazine

9. Ground Power

James,

If you had to narrow it down to one or two mags what would you pick? I'm a magazine junkie too, but I'm also in to model railroading and woodworking, so I have to be somewhat careful or I'll spend my kit budget on magazines!

Hi Lou,

personally I'd get MMiR, AFV Modeller and perhaps TMMI. First one because of quite in-depth articles and last for good modelling techniques/tips. Unfortunately IMHO TMMI's "quality" has suffer a bit after it has changed it's schedule...
AFV Modeller is way too expensive

Cheers,
Niko

Agree with you James on AFV Modeller; despite it's expense it's leaps and bounds ahead of everything else.

TMMI is a great all round mag and excellent eye candy too.

I've a soft spot for MilMod and as a figure modeller I guess it provides well for me!

One thing though; AFVM and TMMI both have something over MM. The editorial's staff obvious enthusiasm and excitement for this hobby. Not saying MM doesn't have this, it's just rather old school so to speak.

Wish I could afford all those mags as well. I agree with what you guys have said so far. I think AFV Modeller is head and shoulders above the rest but I also pick up TMMI, MMIR and Mil Mod from time to time. So man mags so little room on the back of the toilet
Cheers,
Bryan
