Here are a couple pics showing the additional chipping (click to enlarge photos) I added to the fenders. Even with my "restraint" on the rest of the vehicle, I thought the fenders should look a little more beat-up.

So what do you think I should do to the lower works (on top of the pastels already applied)? I'm thinking maybe some more pastels - I want it to look dirty but not caked with stuff...

those wheels are done? i thought they are not painted yet or something like that...
dry dust would be great since it's perfectly built and you don't want to hide that... =)

Nope, they're painted. Base coat of Hull Red followed by Dark Yellow and dry-brushed Metallic Gray. There is also a wash or two and pastels... It is probably the lighting that makes them look unpainted.
