Hi Lawrence,

It is one of Dragon's best to date. A company plans to release the suspension housings I posted photos of and I already have the TWS Marder II interior which seems to fit very well so far and the Armorscale barrel. To top it off, the Voyager Models fender set is a perfect fit. I have some ModelKasten tracks which I may use but it is not necessary.

Regards,

some paint n' stuff

The airbrush came out to base coat the interior so that I can get the colors done to finish the outside.
I also added an additional photo to the start of this SBS. I found a shot of the otherside of this tank while it was being driven into the defensive position.

.
.......................................

Wall section gets a start too.........
..

Then a bit more brown mix (acrylic) done very soft for a general start to wear n' tear
.................................................. ...........

..

Some grey on the outside and a basecoat on the gearbox and I'm ready for the next stage in weathering the interior.

Ian,

that's a good start with the interior paintjob.
Maybe needless to mention, but just make sure that you don't weather the interior too much, since this was a lot less exposed to the elements of nature.

Good work sofar.

Thank you for the posts guys
I found some interesting wear and tear photo's for the panzer 2 wheels. I thought I would leave you with these until I get back from a week up the coast. Oh yeah! I will try and get some model stuff done at night.
Dak wheel replacement...getting a bit worn I think(Panzers in the Desert).

Time to tear at the rubber, Hilly!

You could scribe around the rim a bit, then use the cutters to nibble a bit of the tyre away, leaving that delaminated rubber look. Leopard 1 wheels look the same as those Panzer II wheels when the rubber goes south. Odd.

Best of luck on the Holiday up north........I hope you're taking a canoe!

Sheeds.
