Hello,

Got a vBench!

Now I would like to share some pictures of my finished Sturer Emil.
I built the kit straight out of the box. It's painted only with brushes, since I didn't own a airbrush back then. It was my last fast build. Finished it in about a week.

One thing I'm not happy with this model, are the spare tracks. They are far to red and shiny. (Been to lazy to do anything about that  ) The tracks are the kit ones and I didn't succeed in making them sag.

(Sry about the bad pics. My photography skills leave to be desired. I also don't have a decent program where I could resize them better.)

Don't be so hard on yourself painting by hand. I wish my hand brushing could look as good!

Siim,

I think your skills are quite good, including your photo skills. Brush painting isn't that easy to do. As far as a photo resizer, this is what I use, it works quite well, and is free.

Scroll down the page to where it says image resizer.

Hello,

Thank you all for the good words.

If I had to paint it like that now, then I think I couldn't. Got a airbrush for christmas and been doing all the large area painting with that now.
But maybe just for fun I will do my next KV the old fashioned way.

(Larry, I will give it a try.)

Regards

Siim

What a great finish..........very dusty and one tough looking tank! Good to see your bench up and going.
You need some glasses though......... if you can't see that this is a fine piece of modelling!

Great job.

Painting with brushes is tedious at best. I think you've done marvellous work here, and I'm looking forward to your next project.

Willy.
