A big Thank You to ALL that have taken the time to gather your thoughts and contribute to this most important conversation.
If I may say this, my heart has been touched and thought process kept bubbling with all the words said.

Actually, five, Roy. I'm gonna make 3 Js, and 2 Ls (the L's will be Mickey ships). The J will be my great uncle's plane. He was killed in the war and I'll be sending copies to my two uncles who were also pilots, and keeping one. The L's are a plane that was named after my father, and he'll get one.

Hi gang,

I realize that this thread has not been active for some months, but I wanted to share a few thoughts.

I first joined PA back in 2006, and thought it was the best thing on the web. The V-bench blogs were an opportunity for me to learn from the members who posted step-by-step descriptions of their builds. I stopped visiting for a few years and only recently returned to find the place somewhat deserted.

While I don't know where folks went, I found myself still perusing the v-benches to relearn some old tricks and pick up new ones too.

The V-bench is really what makes this site unique, so I decided to put my money where my mouth is, and add postings to my own. I'm not nearly as talented a builder as some folks here, but I hope that an increase in activity in one person's bench, will inspire others to post in theirs as well.

So here's to future traffic on what I think is still the best AFV modeling page on the web.

best,
Ralph

That's great to hear Ralph Inspiration comes in all forms and vBench sure does that for me!

Well,

I never left. I slowed down my postings but have always visited. I have been in touch with many such as Ken, Rick, Laura, and so on.

Gordy know I asked that my vBench be hidden a while ago. While I can see , it I don't see any of the content. I don't know if it can be revived but I would be happy to start over, keep in mind I had asked about PlanetAir for a long time as I have more to contribute there than PlanetArmor or PlanetFigure.

So, with the addition of some new sections, I have a place to post these!

Alex and Gordy, thanks for all you do and I am sure everyone will return.

Regards,

Thanks Gordy,

Too bad about the domain name loss but there is the OTA section where I can post them.
