OK. It is true that these cams can seriously modify the tone. I know I am unable to come up with pics that look like what my model does. Dreadfull "white balance" ! LOL.

yea it looks a bit too bridgt to me too but i saw it online that some people also did it that way and some real pics also don't look so dark as other panzers...
that's why i would dust it heavily so that dust would "balance" whole pack

i will try washes and filters first, easiest plus its the most cost effective. i have not gloss coated the vehicle yet. I'm going to try for the faded from the sun look. the invasion or Russia was summer so heavy dusting will be appropriate. the vehicle was painted humbrol tank grey #67 it was slightly darker than model master's tank grey on a white piece of plastic.

greetings gentlemen, blind monkey is back and i have a confession to make, I'm addicted to modeling, i just spent close to 150 bucks for washes and filters along with oil paints, specifically MIG. i been standing in front of the mirror the last couple of days and severely chewing my ass off. but i don't think it will do any good. well next time i pull a stunt like this I'll put my self on bread and water for a week, with hard labor out in the yard. now the question is how the heck do i use all this stuff?
