Mike, terrific work. I like the colors and the busy rear deck very much. Great job on the Splittertarn Zeltbahn, too. The best part so far is the tarpaulin, however. Beautifully painted and convincingly draped - it's just perfect.
The model's gonna be a winner!

Johannes

Thanks Johannes,

Apologies for the late reply , head down modelling .

There is a lot of work to do with detailing in the cabin, Here is the initial start with venturing in to doing the archer placards for the instrument panel .

small update
Instrument panel painted in Ammo paints and gloss coated .

Once decals are applied a coat of Testers Dullcote will be applied over the top to seal the decal .

A dob of gloss on a small paintbrush will be applied onto the speedo dial and anywhere where glass covers are.

I've used those archer Dials before and they worked great. Would use them again without hesitation.

Thanks Roy

The Archer product is fantastic and have a huge variety of decals, I mainly use them with the wet method, that was the method used above .

Just picked up the fire extinguisher placards ,perfect .

Back again with the next installment

Been working on figure painting .I'm so out of touch with this , apart from the earlier adventure with the acrylics its a learning lesson .

The guy on the left is painted in Humbrol enamel and the guy on the right has been painted in Vallejo acrylics .

2 down 9 to go

and in the tray

Figures fit the bill Mike.
Which medium do you like best?
I've only painted one set of figures and I used oils but the down side to oils
is it takes forever to dry.
