KV-2 Trumpeter...

Hello folks,

This is my KV-2 from Trumpeter. It´s 80% done. I guess the tracks are way too clean. Sorry for the pics, i´m a awful photographer . The pics don´t make justice to my work . Any comments are welcome !

Best Regards

Needs more dirt, if only on the wheels to go with the tracks...

Looks very nice Carlos

I agree with laz, it needs more dirt, although I suspect that there is more dust than the pics show, a couple of them seem to reveal a bit more if you know what I mean.

Well Cadu,

If I were building it, I would get her real dusty. Most tanks, no matter what size usually kicked up alot of dirt while in motion, so, to me, they don't look right if they are too clean. Maybe some dirt streaking. A light dusting with an air brush would tie it all together. Like Fletcher says I can see a subtle weathering, but I think more would be nice, also, some exhaust staining at the pipes is typical.

Cadu, nice build...these Trumpeter kits just put themselves together.

I believe that Larry and Fletcher are correct in that more dirt would really make it come alive. The exhaust area could also benifit from some attention...soot from those big engines would be appropiate. And the ladder/handles on the turrent sides would most probably show some signs of wear and dirt form crew momement.

Keep it up, your at the fun part.

Rick

Cadu

Nice build You have a good base now to weather it. I agree with the rest of the guys - mud/dirt on the tracks and running gear, dust on the hull with rain/dust streaks, chipped paint on the ladder, scuffed paint on fender and around the hatches.
