T-34/76 Factory Nš112. model late 1942. (1/48)

Hi Guys,

Meanwhile I take up again the DUKW vignette, sometimes a rest is needed to finish, I will build a more simply model, a T-34/76 1/48 scale.

I choosed this one, I like a lot the T-34, I will build a T-34/76 from Factory Nš 112, is curious, Tamiya in its Box call the model T-34/76 model 41, but I compared this models with the planes of the "T-34 Mythical Weapon" and with some minor changes is 1942 late o early 1943 year model production.

Finally I decided to build this model... I accept suggest for the paint scheme.

T-34/76 Factory Nš112. model late 1942

The Tamiya kit is characteristic his 1/48 line products, well detailed and casted, but with the "die-cast" chasis, incomprehensible for me , I start to join the upper and dow cassis parts and clean the wheels.

I will use only a PE for the grilles, I like to build a simply model, I don't like crazy me with a lot of PE parts, Hauler PE sheet is perfect.

Inside I paint all with black, I obtain an artificial shadow perfect for don't see nothing in the interior.

Aaaaahhh! my Tamiya models... some kind of details never will change it... , I add tho plasticard cheet to cover this horrible empty.

I don't like to change the handles, but it needs clean a lot, is easier to replace its.

I detail the front with thin (0.13mm) plasticard and bolts, the welding are make with putty and texturized with X-Acto blade and the plastic welding with a small soldering iron tool:

Soon More,

Thanks for read my poor english and to see my model.

Best Regards

Looking very nice. I agree sometimes it is nice to do a simple model. 2 q's what are you using for the handles and are you sing a specific tool for bending them?

Build Done

Hi Friends,

The build work is done, I have made not many changes to update the Tamiya kit, to the planes that I was saw in the book, T-34 "Mythical Weapon", I was invested 22 hours to build it. I only use the Hauler PE kit, for the grilles, the reaminder was "home-cooked".

Sorry, When I spoken about "simply builds" I refered to don't change-sustitute a lot of pices, only to add detail, and sustitute the minimum of pices, this way is easier and effective way, I hope you understand it.

For Robert, for the handles I was used the "Bendicator" by Ausfwerks Design.

I'm searching any paint-scheme in white, suggest will be welcome.

I hope you like it.

Best Regards, and thanks to see my model.

Very nice work Joaquin. All those improvements really changed the model from an average build to an excellent build! I'm eager to see it painted!

Excellent You couldn't tell from the photos that it is 1/48. Did you add the cast number on the turret? Very nice

I have some pics that may be of use to you. I will post them when I get home today.

Joaquin,
very effective way of doing models: not too much time to detailing yet essential parts added. I should take that approach as well
