Thanks MZ

You will not be disapointed with the Takom King Tiger.

Large german amour subjects have always been a favourite over the years.
The last big axis tank finished was some 4 years ago, where does the time fly.

There are a couple more photo's over here on the Jagdtiger
http://www.puttyandpaint.com/projects/4818

More images to follow on the king tiger, I'm on holidays for a few weeks and the intention is to have the King Tiger completed before I go back.
Head down over the weekend trying to cram all the parts into the turret with the next stage of applying the decals for the engine instrument, turret dials and gun markings.

Hello again,

A small update on progress on the King tiger.

Once the the voyager fenders are on the painting begins.

Tamiya tape will cover all the hatch's on the turret and hull before painting.
The turret barrel and sleeve are not glued in as they will be painted and intricately detailed along with the other parts displayed below.

Hello again,

Next installment of images, Voyager etch fenders are on

I was dissapointed Voyager did not include the front and rear fenders in the etch set.
The only way you could obtain them was to purchase the full etch set.

The 3 front quarter fender brackets are not included in the etch set and had to be robbed from another etch set.
I could have scratch built the brackets but decided that it was easier and quick to put on from a back up Aber set
