128 mm PAK 44 Rheinmetall - GWH

Hi All!

I got this kit from my family to my birthday present , with my friend Narn`s helping .
I couldn`t stand not to build this.
It is a beautiful kit with awesome details.
But i`m touch up it in a few areas
My references are:
http://www.lonesentry.com/ordnance/tag/128mm
http://forum.valka.cz/viewtopic.php/p/70705#70705
If somebody have more photos from this cannon i`d be really happy to it. There are a really few photos from this experimental gun.

The weld seams are just a lines , so i did a new ones with stretched sprue and glue .
The A9 bit got a hole with 0,5 mm drill and i made a shaft to it.It is fitting perfectly to the leg part (i drilled that as well). I`ll put a small chain to it , not to lost when they moving the gun.
The A5 , A29 bit have a totally unnecessary shaft , so i cut them down and i a spared 3 hole drilling.

Nothing's better than a relaxed build with tiny PE stuff.
But for me, looking at it such details is better than actually working with it

Looks fine so far!

Hi All,

I need some help about this element :

I think this a chain hoists in the carrige. But how the chain is applied onto it ?
What is that "lighting" shaped metal part connected to the hoist and to the chain?

If somebody knows it please help me ! I`m stucked

Hi

It is ready to paint !

The tools will be missing from the model this time.

The cables made from 0.6mm clear plastic tube. They are hold in place by "shafts" . I think it is more realistic and the curvature is nicer in this way.
Ofcourse it was a little nightmare to build but it was worth it i guess.
