This was just kidding but now finished!・・・Sdkfz251 with SWR40

Hi, Gents! Long time no see!!

For a slight pastime and a topic of conversation, I made SUNNY(Nitto)’s very old kit : Sdkfz251 with SWR40.

I made a kit completely straight, and the finish was very simple, too. (only use pastel work, of course I do not give the chipping at all)

It is pleasant that I sometimes make an old kit

Ha ha! This must be the other end of your skill set . No solder and no brass to be seen, mmmmm somethings not right about this .

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

This work may be reaction in my having treated only metal for these years

>Luiz-san
Thank you for your praise. The work which I paint and finished is the fifth in this, so I should be able to paint this well

>Flak-san
Haha! Yes, It is just what you say. I could not apply decals. This kit is made in 1974, so this becomes 34 years old by this year

Does this ever bring back memories, my first armor kit! Kind of a piece of crap from what I remember...I think that after several failed attempts to add the decals I ended up gluing them on!

Hey Watanabe,
well this came unexpected.
Like Tamigawa, I wouldn´t have thought you would be able to build a kit completely from the box without some brass or any updates .
It looks very nice and it wouldn´t make me wonder if you wouldn´t be able to make a correctly detailed halftrack from it with your voodoo .
I like the MGs, why didn´t you use those?
It would be very nice to see some more of these old dogs built up.

Wow, it's more decent looking than I thought it would be.
I bet this kit has a premium price tag in the hobby shop.
