James,

How can you model so much, and so well, and still be on the PC so long? :-)

Regards,
Saúl
Well I really haven't built much lately, since starting back at work...(been doing a little something in the evening hours that is a little surprise that I will post when done)....and I have a MAC.
( I have to switch off now- gotta new MAXTOR 250 GB external drive. Need to transfer everything on the G4 hard drive and then update to Tiger OS X. Keep the work coming...)

Alright James,

External backup ,sweet.

Oh, and Saul, that's some sweet modeling your doing, especially in that scale.

Saul,
I am really interested in this small scale stuff. At some stage could you take a photo of the chassis and turret together next to something that will give it more scale? Maybe a 1/35 version?
Thanks.

Hi Ian,

Maybe these will help?
http://www.track-link.net/reviews/k1599 compare third and fourth photos

or
http://www.track-link.net/reviews/k1598 compare second and fourth photos

I am trying not to look at other kits as I am easily swayed to start another and none would get finished!

Regards,
Saúl

I got busy with some reviews and work. I had only 30 minutes but I fixed the road wheel arms.

Saúl

Well, I did not finish cleaning up the garage/workshop but I did dedicate an hour to this tank. Sorry for not having photos ready (I guess I'll edit this post later and add them).

1. The front roadwheel arm has been shaped.
2. All other roadwheel arms have had the anti-sway brackets removed.
3. The arms themselves were replaced with styrene rod. Luckily, the axles and torsion bar sides remained attached.
4. Bumper stop braces added to the rear four roadwheel arms.
5. Lower rear hull had the towing eyes drilled out and the treadplate added (the rear towing eyes are identical to the front ones other than being mounted upside down and having the outside edge with bolts removed allowing the eye to be welded directly to the final drive cover.)
6. Drain bolts added to the final drive covers.
7. Lower rear hull plate added and a gap filled.

Regards,
Saúl García

Good to see you back to work, especially on something small. Hopefully we will be seeing another update soon.

Cheers,
Christopher
