Elefant - DML Premium Kit

Hello everyone!

I felt like I needed a fast build for a change so I started on this putty. So far so good.

This is the work I got done last night....

Since I was in the zimmerit mood today I did some more this evening.

There are some mistakes that I need to fix with a sharp blade. the front plate bas a real pain in the a$$. I just could not get it right. It still is kind of so-so.

How is the pattern to you???

Siim

Not bad, I think the front plate needs more definition in the pattern. What putty did you used?

I admire you all who manage to tackle zimmerit from scratch so convincingly. Nice job and very quick.

Damn Siim!

You are blowing through this ! Zimm looks pretty good, but I agree with Ruben, it could have a little more umpfh! or depth. maybe make a little tool especially for that part, it shouldn't be that hard. Looking good. Which vehicle you planning on doing?

Hello Siim,

Looking very good so far. Zimm looks very good to me. Especially since its home made. I have this one in the stash also but with the Atak set. Wish I could reach your level of skill with this zimm of yours.
Keep it up.

Greetz

Thank you Ruben, Roy, Rick, Pete, Laz#1, RC and Tom!

As for the front, yeah I agree that it needs a bit more definition. I will see what I can do.

Laz, I didn't make a special tool as I thought I could make it with the smaller edge of the rake....but yeah next time I will follow your advice. I made the front area as the very last thing at about 3 in the night so my mind was not that clear.

I think I will make a vehicle of s.Pz.Abt.653 in Poland 1944. It will have a yellow base with green/brown camo. I think I will mix up the numbers a bit as I don't want to do exactly ''232'' as in the instruction sheet.
