Hello gents
Now that AFV Club announced a new Centurion tank,
I'd like to ask you guys the following question:
Which conflict or army would be your choice for the
new Centurion kit? British in Korea? IDF???
Thanks in advance!

Taesung

Count me in for IDF. Maybe some figures would go nice with this too (hint hint).

Yes, I am looking for a new figure idea for Centurion
and start to lean toward IDF tankers. I like the tankers
in this pic:

from www.israeli-weapons.com
Does anyone have any detailed info on the uniforms?

Gday Taesung, gday all,

For me, its gotta be Aussie in Vietnam. Granted it alleges to have all the bits on the box for a Mk 5/1 Aust, but for me I cant go past doing an Aussie one...

Here's a link to a great site with veterans pics from Vietnam..

This shot could have been taken today!

Thanks everyone for the replies.
I'm kind of leaning toward IDF crew idea myself...
Any great pics out there showing IDF tankers from 60s?

Some scratchbuilding ahead of you then! I think by '82 most if not all IDF Cents would have been upgraded Shot-Kal's with the diesel engine/deck/rear end and 105mm gun. Lets hope this will still be a version that will be made by AFV Club or perhaps some other competitor. Then we would have a good start for all the engineer variants.

For markings/crew, my votes are 1) Canadian (natuarally!) 2) Israeli 3) Aussie (since this will best fit what's in the box at this time)

Cheers,
Jim
