Evan

Achtung Panzer No3 while not as good as the rest of the series, will still be very useful reference to differentiate between the Ausfs. Spielberger's book on the other hand goes into the dvelopment and history of the PzKpfw IV. It has some nice photos of the interior and covers the variants as well for eg the Dicker Max, Jagdpanzers, Stug IV, Brumbar, Mobewagen, Wirbelwind, Ostwind, Kugelblitz, Nashorn, Hummel, Heuschrecke, Bruckenleger, Munitionstrager fur KarlGerat and Landwasserchlepper. In my opinion, it's worth every penny.

Picked up the Spielberger Panzer IV volume a few weeks ago LQ.

Look what I got today-

(from Ausfwerks site)

The Ausfwerks fender bender, I'm been playing around with it today and so far I'm pretty impressed! Now to get some Panzer IV fenders so it can do its thing!

It's pretty straight forward. Just loosen the three screws on the top to raise the clamp portion, then insert the piece to be bend. Tighten the screws, then simply bend the tool to the desired angle. It will do bends up to about 120 degrees. For longer bends, such as fenders, there is 7 inch long straght plate on the opposite side. Just remove the screw on top, remove the top part and flip it around. Then screw it back.

First PE tool for me. Figured I finally needed one.

Got this the other day too-

Tiger Model Designs' Kampfraumheizung for my Panther. Casting looks pretty nice, casting numbers and bolts are included on the unit. Individual pie pieces, plus some for extras. The pie pieces have a tab that inserts into the slot on the ring around the top of the unit. The only negative I can think of is that no screen is provided, you will have to steal one from the kit or PE set. I'll let you know how it builds up.

As some of you guys are using it for zim, I decided to pick up some Mori Mori putty from HLJ. Two parts, the putty and a small tube of hardener. Still experimenting, but it seems to work pretty well.

And since I have some of the new Dragon Tigers on preorder I picked up this-
