Hello Planeteers and friends,

Guys, thanks for the nice comments.

James, thanks for sharing the photo of the suspension, you donít happen to have a photo of the fighting compartment you could share? It would be of great help.

I am about to head for Rubenís place and check things out as he makes the water for the Flak dio. But first its time for an update on this weekís work.

I place removed all the detail from the rear plate and set it in place. Again I noticed a nasty gap between the plate and the hull.

And again a plastic strip save the day.

Next it was time to rebuild the tow pintle. This is one of those things that makes you wonder what were you thinking when you decided in making this from scratch. It started as some bits of plastic.

Next I added some more bits of plastic and some green putty.

Finally here is the tow pintle along with the exhaust and the convoy light.

Next I moved to the front of the vehicle where some serious work had to be done with the tow hooks. The original modelís were so bad that I decided to make them from scratch. I made them out of plastic and added some green stuff in order for them not to look flat.

Next up where the parts where the spare track bar would go. They started as bits of plastic.

Next some more bits of plastic were added.

And finally here they are in place.

Well, I hope you enjoy this update, as always any suggestions are welcome.

Have a great weekend!

dave

Great work here! I'm always impressed how scratch builders create two parts absolutely similar. Especially in this size.

Hats off Dave!
Most guys would have taken the shortcut and used the Tamiya kit (me included ), so Iīm very impressed how you tackle this kit.
Great work, really.
