WIP Model.... well..... kinda

This isn't really modelling per se, however, it takes up most of my "modelling" time and is basically modelling in a larger scale so I thought I'd share it with you guys. The panther is still moving along but this one keeps getting in the way. It's been a WIP for my father and I for a couple years now. We are just now getting to the good stuff..... So, if anyone's interested in a larger scale, here's the link.

As they say...A nice clean build...!

I wish I knew something of how to do that type of work. Real craftsmanship.

Interesting project you've got there........ I'm sure you would agree that much of the time it's easier to weld something or cut and grind something on the real thing than to do it in small scale. Best of all, you never lose anything when you drop it!

Niiiice!

I hope you don't mind if I step in, I'm new to PA and just registered. My name is Lukas and I'm 36.

First some comments:
1. What a great pickup, Chad.
2. James, that's a nice Escort, looks like an interesting project.
I also own an old Ford, so here are some pics of the things that destract me from modelling.

Restoring my car ('64 Ford Cortina) , my scooters ('59 and '64 Lambrettas and a '64 Vespa and my Jukebox ('59 Wurlitzer 2300). The car and the jukebox are finished, but I still have the scooters in the works.

Greetings, Lukas

These look great! I like the paint work! They still need some weatherin' in my opinion. Maybe some textured mud effects along the lower areas would look real nice. Maybe the same for the tyres! Nice clean builds all round! well done!

Looks cool Chad.

How about painting it in camo?

I know this is way off topic but 6 and 1/2 years and a much lighter wallet later after I posted this the first time, it's finally done so I can't help but post and update. My dad and I started this about 10 years ago and as some of you may know, he passed away in 2011 before we could finish it so it's bitter sweet but building it with him makes it that much more special to me. Interior was just finished up a couple weeks ago and the tags and everything just came so I'm road ready. Again, way off topic but I had a hand in building it so it's a model of sorts to me.
