Should be fine now Lawrence - I have set up my email. I didn't realise that it was changed since the server 're-jig'.

Yeah, I know what you mean but every one that I have seen done so far is in splinter cam. I want to do a filthy black one first with all the eagles and swastikers etc. I will do another later in the splinter and grey but with a late war convoy of tanks and trucks attached.

G'day Ian!

Any chance you can show an overall shot with something next to it for scale. Say a glue bottle or your cutting knife? I just want to oogle and "ahh" it a bit more.

And a belated wish to your son for a speedy recovery.

Thumbs up Great build/great notes -

Hi Ian,

I picked one of these up in HK a few weeks back, but am a couple of months before I can even start to get to it - it's great to watch your build. I'm copying your caveats down on my "instruction manual".

I've done a few searches, but haven't come up with many examples of wartime schemes. Is there a site out there with pre '46 paint jobs?

They other thing I have been mulling over is the wheel painting... I've thought of using a "metalizer" type paint to get that almost polished look on the wheel and track surfaces. What's your plan?

Keep 'em coming...
Paul

Go Ian,

Hope you are enjoying the build Hilly, I have mine about 3/4 finished now, one day I might actually get around to taking some proper pics and posting them. I found some of the parts to be a little gappy in places and as for ejector pins....I think there are more pins than plastic on some parts. I look forward to seeing yours in paint, which will probably happen before I get mine done....
Here's a dodgy pic from a club meeting the last time I took it along....
