Show us your set up!

Not feeling a load of motivation at the moment, but I thought i'd share pics of my set up.

Call me wierd, but every time over on Hyperscale one of these type of threads starts, I love looking at peoples' model set up.

So, here's mine.

Here's the little glass cabinet ive got, the other bigger on I have, well im working on getting it up in the model room, SWMBO wont allow it in the house as yet..

Model desk itselt. The lastest addition is the little bookshelf. Ive populated it with all the refs I find myself using more often than now

And the computer desk

Here's one half of the cupboard of death - sorry about the horrible images!

So, feel free to share shots of your stash and your set up!

Hi,
this is my workbench currently. All work is done in this place, painting, building etc.

Some of my finished or nearly behind the glass. Youngest son hasn't opened door for almost an year now

Some of my stuff "neatly" packed in closet. Paints, tools and "hot" projects are here. Other kits are in basement or in other closets. Wife doesn't like the idea of having compressor in our living room. Maybe if I paint to matching colors?

Dude, is that a couple of Shermans I see in your stash. A couple??

No pictues of my newest arrangement. The 10X20 room I use to have is gone. So imagine if you will (and I know you all have an imagination) a plastic tub full of the essential tools and any flat spot not taken in a house....and you have my set up.

Beautiful ain't it?

Stuke,

Mine is worse than yours, I don't even have the luxury of a plastic tub to keep everything in. That and the fact that College Football is in full swing is m latest excuse for being down and out in the modelling world...

I love college football season! I break out the dinner tray and my tub and just slog through kits. Seperation Saturday saw me do the entire running gear of a DML StuG III C/D including the tracks!

IIRC, you are a Vols fan? I'm a Ducks fan first but have several other "interests". And yeah, I don't really want to hear about the bad call either!

Yes I am a Tennessee fan (I need to re-insert my avatar) as for the "bad call" Oklahoma needs to get over it.

My Workbench

This is my workbench. It's about 7 1/2 feet long but there's a lot of clutter. This is actually the studay and I have to clean and pack up every night. Planet Armor is always turned on.

My main stash of kits. Top shelf is the kits, second and third shelf are the aftermarket stuff, fourth shelf is the tools and paints and the bottom two are where the books are kept

Some of my reference books

The paint shop - right on the floor of the bathroom!

Ok, here goes...

This is my workbench and also a computer desk. It is actually nice to have the monitor very near as it is comfortable to watch referece pictures.

A more close-up shot of the little shelf I made myself. Looking at it now I see that one more level would have been good. (The Pz IV box has been on the table for so long. As long as the model is not finished I will not move it. )

On the big shelfs there are completed models and nearer to the monitor the unfinished ones.
Paints and compressor
The very mobile paintbooth. Whenever I paint I take it, the paint box and compressor to the kitchen table.

And the stash. (The crossed boxes are for spare parts)

Oh....and I have a small collection of shell casings.

Happy modelling

Siim

How come everyone's got a Dragon PZIVE in their stash? is it such a good kit?

And I notice IKEA features a lot in the furniture...
