Cool 1/72 Panther Ausf. D from Zvezda

Decided to buy this new "easy-build" kit from Zvezda. The detalisation is quite amazing for braile scale, but there are some mould lines, that needs to be removed. Hopefully all of it will turn out into a nice Kursk Panther. Here is what it looks after half an hour of work

I'm not quite sure with protype, but want to make it in dunkelgelb, maybe an abandonned one. So, I'm open to your suggestions

Also checked the prototypes for the decs that Zvezda gives:

Alex, glad that you like it. I wonder if Zvezda sells this kit abroad. Coz here it costs like 8 bucks, and the quality is way better than Dragon.

Alright. So keep on working on the panther. I replaced the handles and made some wire hooks on the turret. Zvezda gives wrong covers on engine plate that look somewhat like early and late type. I decided to make them late type and added handles.

Made some green camo. First couple shots are with flash. Found out that its quite hard to do the camo in braile scale

Thumbs up

Looking good as my hat is off to you! I cannot work in that scale at all.

Need to get me a D version of the Panther. I believe that's what I am lacking in my built collection.

Nice camo pattern too! We need to see more.

Next I`m gonna fix the decals and than make deal with the wheels and tracks.

There is a nice 1/35 early Ausf D from Dragon. You should give it a try
