The Movie List

Ok how about a list of watchable movies? Not everything is kits and I do like to relax with a good film.
1/ Action, 2/ Funny, 3/ Sexy, 4/Drama.
Now I'm happiest with all 4 points in one movie but if any of the above is strong then let me know and I'll hunt them down for a watch.

A movie I'm interested in is Defendor [2009].
Plot line is.........................
A crooked cop, a mob boss and the young girl they abuse are the denizens of a city's criminal underworld. It's a world that ordinary Arthur Poppington doesn't understand and doesn't belong in, but is committed to fighting when he changes into a vigilante super-hero of his own making, Defendor. With no power other than courage Defendor takes to the streets to protect the city's innocents. Link to IMDB.
Anyone seen this movie?

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

Stander [2003]
How about this one? I didn't hear anything about it but it's got a lot of good reviews. Link to IMDB.
Plot line is..................
"Stander" is based on the true story of André Stander, a South African homicide/robbery police captain who became
one of the most notorious bank robbers in the country. After participating in the brutal killing in a riot in the line of duty,
Stander decided to defy the very system he was part of, and set off on an audacious crime spree; robbing banks during
his lunch hour then returning to the scene of the crime to lead the investigation. Finally, caught by the same police force
he worked with, he was jailed and, subsequently befriended Allan Heyl and Lee McCall. After a daring jailbreak, the 'Stander
Gang' committed a large number of robberies, which grew increasingly bold over time. In the eyes of the public, their
blatant disregard for authority made them South Africa's most popular anti-heroes. In reality, however, Stander and his
gang were the most wanted men in the country.

Defendor [2009/2010] Big tick

Very funny film and not as dark as I thought it was supposed to be. The whole thing had the feel of Batman with an IQ of 85, LOL.

I loved his first name "Defendoor". Dislexia [dyslexia ] is a bitch .

Just kidding, of course.

I just saw a cops/robbers that was very good - "We Own the Night" - more on the Drama side of things. In the same vein, "The Departed" is also a good one.

"Armored" was also pretty good.

"Up In the Air" is a good one to watch with the S/O. . .

LOL, I didn't think before I wrote that down, now I wish I could take it back, haha.
Just watched a "RC" about a guy that thinks his new girlfriend is to good for him. I can't remember the name right now (I'm doing this on my iPhone) but it had quite a few grins in it (plus the girlfriend, an aus-pom, is very easy on the eyes).

Was the flick "She's Out of My League"? That looked like a good one. . .

"Aus-Pom" - Is that half-Australian/half-English?
