The end of the dry.

Well Perth (Western Australia) just had the first rain in 78 days!!!
We got 0.2mm last night (the big BBQ for the bosses birthday)..
That will be it for the rest of summer up till Easter unless we get a thunder storm.

Sorry about the drible weather report but it was big news here today LOL.

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

I think we should do what soviets used to do on some military parades: Load a lot of snow in bomber aircrafts, get it over there and drop it!

James, you could have come out here for 10 pound in the old days. All the sun you can stand (adv. of 300 sunny days a year) .
Down side of living here is my wife wants to go back to Harlow (Essex) every few years. I could build better kits if not for that. She walks around saying I'm glad I don't live here anymore, LOL it just cracks me up.

Arthur, the snow always looks fantastic to those of us that only see it on the inside of our freezer.
I will one day stand in the snow just to get a feel for it (done heat to death and I'm ready for the cold LOL) but my boss keeps telling me that after a few days the snow turns a dirty color and gets like a giant slushy. She hates the cold (hence her coming to Perth many years ago).
Moscow must be a rugged place with summer temps in the mid to high 30C and well below freezing in winter. I think they can keep their weather over there LOL.

For the colour of the snow your boss is right: if you don't touch it it remains white and lovely, but on the streets it tends to be brownish-muddish, disgusting.

We could use some heat out here in Chicagoland - I'm going broke on heating my shop! I'm getting tired of the icy wind and the damn white stuff all over the ground. Itching to get out the Mustangs, too, but I couldn't get one out of the driveway right now. At least it's sunny today.
