Thanks Andrey.
I know inside myself that this isn't my best work [seam lines and knock-out pin plus a bit of flashing, here and there] but I'm really trying to get the thing built and not bogged down in details too much.

Why would the clowns not let people into the tent? What's the point of the show if they don't? .

No mate I'm only building this kit.
I'd like to see someone use all these kits .

The T34 with interior is nice, would look beautiful as a wreck sitting next to your Tiger

Don't you know it!! Boom!! bits everywhere, haha [then again you can do a burnt out Tiger next to this tank that having work/repairs done to the engine].

123 is sitting on top of the comp tower waiting for me to get back to him. I got to the track guards and stall, then had life dramas plus a dead comp to contend with but all going good I think early new year will see the return of my pet .

The tank at Aberdeen was built in Nizhnii Tagil in early 1942. The turrets on T-34 built at Sormovo (the kit) and at No.183 were the same, so any photos you find of the Aberdeen tanks are relevant, and there are lots of them. The casting is not as rough as you might think.

There are two or three threads with interior photos here (you may have to log in):

I have lots of drawings and sketches from different manuals if you're interested.

Cheers

Thanks for the links Scott, all worked well .
Thanks for the offer on the tech info [and I am interested] but I'm way to far along to correct much. I'm so tempted to have a crack at the intake manifold and the only thing stopping me is if I make a hash out of it I'll have to seal it all up.
regards Steve

How is the turret interior?

AFV also offer a regular plastic version right? Not clear parts etc? I gotta get one...

Paul

PS I wish I could read Russian
Hi Paul, the turret looks good and I'll find time to upload pics asap. Lots of detailing in and around the gun so you can open that bloody great big hatch or, as I'll do, the whole turret top.

Yep AFV only cast 5000 of the clear kits , the rest will be standard and thats what I'll be doing. If you are a big fan of these tanks I'd go clear and tap Scott for details on the missing fuel tanks and stuff.

I wish I was more capable of with English [it is supposed to be my native tongue] that the thought of a new one that I could wreck would be a shame my mum [again] LOL.

I'll take that all onboard mate .
I've got a few tubes Tamiya basic putty floating around so I'll go with that. Did you know it cuts down well with acetone? You need to be in a well ventilated area [and no where near the boss or she will rip you a new one ]. Drop a bit into a small container with a little acetone until you get the consistency you are looking for.
