This how i use the Mori Mori Putty .
You can buy it online from Rainbow Ten or Hobbylink Japan

the putty comes in two parts you get a large paste tube and a small bottle of hardner you can see the putty in the top left of this picture i alsu use a flat chiesel blade and the misson models scribing tool you will also needs a piece of foam i use a old piece that i found lying around it is a fine bubble type if that makes sense .

Mix the two parts together you will need only a small amount of the hardner when you mix it you want to get a nice dark pastel yellow colour but not as yellow as tamiya tape . This mix is a bit light in colour it should be darker like on my Jagdpanther .

then spread it thin on the plastic it doesnt have to be super smooth as the texturing will fix some of the raised bits , i try and get a scale thickness to the zimmerit as i reckon it looks better when chipping the zimmerit later .

texture the putty with the foam .

then it should look like this a bit

then scribe the lines using a ruler or some other straight edge

and your done .
You can also pick of parts of the zimmerit quite easily using the point of a No.11 scapel blade or using the Chiesel blade in the mission models tool.
Hope this explains it enough .
cheers Plushy

And heres the update on the build , i have glued the top and bottom together and base coated the whole thing using Lifecolour`s Dunkelgelb i also rescribed a lot of the zimmerit to get the squares smaller . Now i just gotta assemble the tracks and i can start more painting and some detailing .

Sorry for the bad photos i have to work out a way to get Sam to come and take photos for me too .

Nice tutorial Plushy, Danke!

One thing on the last shot, WTF is going on with the fan mesh? It looks two sizes too big.

Oh, and to get Sam to take your photos, you need to bring beer. The good kind, not the "faggy Mexican beer you (he means me) drink".
