Hi,

I've never seen one with rubber around it. That seems more like a modern thing. Ruslan, I think you could do it without. The ones you made are very nice. Maybe just need to be rounded a bit on the corners. My 2 cents worth.

Ruslan

I agree with Larry it looks very nice. Keep up the good work.

I found some photos that show the rubber covering. This is from Acthung Panzer

And this is from Munch book on the Combat History of the Schwere Panzerjager Abteilug 653

Lawrence, Nice photos, i saw the fisrt one but can't undestand one hting. Was the rubber covering one pice or was it wrap around it?
Should it be like in Panzer works smooth covering or should i show that it was wrapt?

Ruslan,
Now that I see the pics, yours look to be right on the money.

Ruslan

The tow cable heads are flat. So no problems with the Aber set.

These photos are taken from ALlied Axis number 8

The covering over the neck looks like a rubber like material and does not look like wire. Achtung Panzer has a drawing of it as well and it is not wire. I will look at my reference books and see if I can find a close-up picture.

I have never noticed that before, I stand corrected.

Ruslan,

The color looks good on my monitor, do you like the color? I mean does it look like a convincing color to you?
